today i’m working on a diatribe about ethical conflicts in the environment movement. but that might take a few days to research properly.
in the mean time you might want to get some perspective by looking at a new program put together by microsux to rival google earth - worldwide telescope (sadly made for vista). WT merges images from many telescopes to give us a look at the universe worthy of the side of any panel-van-fantasy-girl-on-a-unicorn-backdrop.
of course, NASA have been sharing the best of the hubble space telescope with us since the 90s and the best high-res pics of deep space are still here hubblesite.org
this one is my personal favourite: imgsrc.hubblesite.org/hu/db/2004/07/images/m/formats/full_jpg.jpg
i have been involved in environmental, human rights, animal rights & media activism for over fifteen years, since the birth of my kids. i love to write and make short amateur films. i've been published in some magazines including New Internationalist, Chain Reaction, Vegan Voice, Animals Today, Green Left Weekly, Maple St Coop news, and written too many zines and indymedia articles to list here. i've been a media tart at community radio 4ZzZ102.1fm since 2002. some of my radio can be listened to here or at Radio4all, my films can be found at EngageMedia
